KPI Solutions’ WES Recognized in the 2025 Gartner® Hype Cycle for Supply Chain Execution and Logistics Technologies Report
KPI Solutions (KPI), a leading supply chain consulting, software, systems integration, and automation supplier today announced that the company has been recognized in the Warehouse Execution Systems chapter of the Hype Cycle for Supply Chain Execution and Logistics Technologies Report by Gartner.
In the report, Gartner states “Supply chain technology leaders, especially in high-volume, high-velocity environments such as e-commerce, retail and direct-to-consumer, are under pressure to drive increased throughput at lower costs per order, which is pushing the need for high-velocity automated fulfillment. WESs can be effective solutions for automated order-picking strategies, and companies are likely to rely on them to support higher volumes and faster processing speeds.”
It continues “WESs are primarily an operational effectiveness opportunity with minimal impact on the overall strategy. As the amount of automation increases, companies will have to transition management practices from a focus on people to a focus on automation design, which will drive the need for WESs.”
